Leaf Shelter for Sandhill Primary School, Barnsley, 2009

In Education art projects result in pupils benefitting greatly from their involvement and having a greater sense of ownership and citizenship as they help to improve their school/community environment.

Working closely with the teachers and Headteacher to a fixed budget Coralie provides an opportunity for pupils to be involved in a very exciting process. Whether it is a commissioned artwork or an arts week there are lots of activities in design and hands on making that the children can enjoy.

Pupils are engaged in design drawing, painting, mosaic, modelmaking and research. Children’s ideas are often developed into or directly part of the finished piece.

Coralie works in schools and colleges as well as having groups of students come to work in her studio.

Projects result in pupils benefitting greatly from their involvement and having a greater sense of ownership and citizenship as they help to improve their school/community environment. Mostly we have a lot of fun!
