What will people want? what do the public feel excited about? How to add something to each environment that connects. I often work as the link between Local Authorities/ housing associations and local residents, my work increases ownership of the location and citizenship. I am very experienced in consultation and creatively engaging communities, finding solutions for projects including art in public parks and communal spaces. Robust, easily maintainable materials are used and are specific to the site. Vandalism, rubbish traps and safety risks are designed out but its not just the practical things it’s the unique heart and soul of the work that I want people to connect with.
